I finally accepted, after fifty or so years of struggling, that I wasn't going to have an "ordinary" life.
My friends just laughed when I announced this, as if they already knew.
I know first hand about: Ranching & the West, Murder (not by or of me), the 60's, Motorcycles, Mountain Climbing, Filmmaking, Screenwriting, Building Design & Construction, various Diseases including Mono-Valley Fever-Cancer-Poison Oak-Brain Tumors-Sports Injuries-Broken Bones-Surgery-Alcoholism. Blindness, Deafness, Prisons, Alaska, Museums, Motherhood, Homeownership, Dieting, Opera, Collecting Vintage Airplanes, Lovers (not telling who), Marriage, the Death of close loved ones, Court Trials, Astrology, London, Paris, Morocco, Thailand, Colorado, Laos, Greece, Seattle, Italy, LA, Cambodia, Jordon, Arizona, Israel, Aspen.
Over 1,000,000 air miles, around 20 addresses, thousands of books & movies & tv shows.
You too may be astonished at how extraordinary your life will seem after you make a few lists.
